This weekend, Once On This Island opens at County Players Theater in Wappingers Falls, NY. This is what I've been doing with most of my time since late August when we held the audition. I'm the director and choreographer for the show, my 11 year old daughter is in the cast, my husband is playing percussion in the pit, my mother is the costume designer and my son has made a playground of the theater during some long rehearsals. The show runs for the first three weekends in November and more information can be found here: www.countyplayers.org. If you can come see it, please do!
Meanwhile, back in the studio, I've been working on a few things. The 12 weeks of Christmas is up and running which goes out to my mailing list subscribers only. I've done one craft fair and have three more on the calendar. I'm planning three holiday card making classes (2 here and one upstate). And I'm continuing the redesign of my business. Once the show is done, I will be able to really focus on that and get it rolled out ASAP. I've decided to hold off until January 1, even though I thought I'd be ready on September 1!
Next, I need to design my Christmas Cards and get those moving. I think I'm going to use Stampin' Up!'s My Digital Studio this year to make it much quicker and easier. This program can do SO many things, I wonder why I don't use it more often!
Off to finish my newsletter!
